Skye Loneragan
Creator, Skye Loneragan is a critically-acclaimed playwright & performer, most recently Sydney Poetry Prize winner. Her first of six solo shows, Cracked, won an Edinburgh Fringe First and was adapted for ABC Radio National. Q-Poetics has grown from her work within spaces & places of waiting – in Glasgow’s New Victoria Hospital (Making a Map of My Mistakes), & her work in live art and theatre (Plucked of Purpose – the Adventures of P.B, The Line We Draw & A Little Laugh I Lost Somewhere) – again, in UK & Australia. Skye’s published contributions include Melbourne Books (Award Winning Australian Writing 2012), Abridged Magazine, (UK), Grist Anthology (editor, Simon Armitage) and Sotto (Australian Poetry). She is currently Artistic Director of Toonspeak Young People’s Theatre, making new work collaboratively and inclusively which challenges and inspires with young people.
